It's Time To Choose Who You Want To Be
The Male and Female Archetypes The World Needs Now. Free Download.
This is one of the greatest acts of power we have. The conscious choice of who we become. Not what we do. Not what we own. Not who we know, or how we are known. Not what we leave behind, but who we ARE.
Namely, the energy we bring into rooms, and the culture we spread within our families and friendship groups. The way we hold space for others and the honesty with which we meet our reflections.
When people live in denial, they unconsciously force those around them to deny reality too. The cycle repeats until one person dares to see, to feel, and to break the illusion, even if that means getting away.
Now, more than ever, we need women and men who choose to become something quite different to what they’ve been conditioned to be.
The Divide
We are living in a time where the great divide is playing out everywhere we look. Politics has become a battleground of extremes, fed by fear, misinformation and manipulation. Social media, a tool born for connection, often fuels separation and polarisation, and people seem unable or unwilling to meet in the middle, instead choosing sides with unwavering allegiance.
The rise (and return) of figures like Donald Trump is not accidental. It reflects a collective shadow and a mirror of our unresolved wounds, fears and unhealed trauma within society. When people feel unsafe, unheard or disempowered, they gravitate towards strong, simple, often divisive messages that promise safety, belonging or power, even if that safety is built on excluding others. The ‘us versus them’ narrative grows louder when people haven’t yet learned how to live from a place beyond their ego’s fear.
The more fractured we become, the louder this polarisation gets, so the work of choosing who we ARE is more urgent than ever.
The Real Work: Breaking the Lineage
We have for too long defined success by the narrowest of terms: money, possessions, titles, status. But true success lives far beyond the material. It’s about healing what we inherited.
We carry wounds handed down by generations before us. Patterns of fear, scarcity, control, shame, abandonment, unworthiness. Cycles that have kept us playing small, dimming our light so we feel like we belong, we’re accepted, or at worst, to simply survive.
The real work is not in acquiring more (the big house, fast car, dream job…)but in breaking these inherited cycles, recognising the invisible stories that have shaped us, and choosing to no longer be ruled by them.
We need to choose courage over comfort, love over fear and expansion over contraction, and when we do, we will free ourselves and those who come after us.
The Woman The World Needs Now
The world has asked a lot of women for centuries to play roles that suited others. To be soft but not too soft, strong but not too strong, nurturing yet endlessly self-sacrificing. But the woman we need now is a woman who has broken those cages, one by one. How?
She owns her faults without shame. She no longer pretends to have it all together because she has come to understand that wholeness comes from integration, not perfection. Her wounds have become her wisdom. She learns. She evolves. And she shares that evolution with others.
She is not stuck or scared. She does not hide the truth. She does not pretend or lie to keep things ticketyboo. She shares her vulnerability and empowers yours. She helps other women to take off their armour and stand tall in their imperfections. She shows them that strength isn’t found in comparison or competition, but in genuine, authentic connection.
She understands her ego. She’s studied her patterns and sees her need for validation and approval. She is aware of her self-judgment and the temptations of bitterness and envy. She no longer lets these run the show. Instead, she lives in a place of conscious love.
She doesn’t sit scrolling on socials endlessly, measuring herself against filtered lives. Instead, she supports. She likes. She shares. She amplifies others’ voices. She understands that another woman’s success takes nothing from her own.
She asks questions, she is interested and interested, for the benefit of all, not just herself.
Most of all, she no longer lives from fear. Fear of not being enough. Fear of being too much. Fear of truth, rejection, ageing, failing or falling. She lives from love. And it’s a love you can feel -because it always radiates outwards.
The Man The World Needs Now
Men have been conditioned to lead but not to feel, to perform but not to question, to be strong but never vulnerable.
BAH!
The man we need now is not a polished image of musty old Brut masculinity, nor the caricature of bravado. He is a man who has faced himself fully. Who acknowledges where he’s fallen short and speaks about it. He dares to admit his mistakes and learn from them, and he no longer hides behind silence or anger but allows himself to be seen.
He embraces his vulnerability and celebrates it.
He understands that crying is not weak, and to feel is not dangerous, and to seek help is not failure. He empowers other men to release the emotional cages they’ve lived in for too long and helps them to openly stand tall.
He, too, has understood his ego.
He has dismantled the lies that tell him his worth lies in status, possessions, control or another’s perception. He knows the difference between power over others and true personal power. He no longer competes, but stands beside his peers, lifting them higher.
And like his feminine counterpart, he lives not from fear but from love. Love that shows up in responsibility. In presence. In action.
The Shared Path
The world does not need more performative perfection, shallow thinking or desperation; it needs real, honest, awake human beings who choose every day to evolve.
In truth, what we ultimately need, regardless of gender, are humans who are willing to do the work. So, what is the work?
It’s to meet your shadows.
To dismantle your conditioning.
To love from wholeness, not lack.
To support others genuinely, without agenda.
To lead with kindness.
To live with courage.
To hold yourself accountable.
To honour both the feminine and masculine within yourself.
It’s not for us to judge those who choose to live unconsciously. Every soul moves at its own pace. They will no doubt return, in another timeline, and have another opportunity to remember. But for those who are impacted by another’s lack of awareness, there is a different kind of work, and that is to hold compassion while protecting your peace.
Who you become is not a given. It’s a choice. And right now, the world is quietly, desperately asking you to choose wisely.
